: The north wall of Potala peak is a high-altitude climbing route. This route is far more difficult than many famous peaks in the world. It requires not only superb climbing skills, but also experience for high-altitude and unlimited self encouragement. This extremely difficult route has hindered many of the world's top climbers. So far, only the world's top climber, Taishi Yamano, has successfully completed the climb after seven days of climibing in 2005 after his failure in 2004. He named the route "Cheers". In August 2013, three Chinese climbing representatives joined in partners for the first time to challenge the limit of their climbing ability, and for the first time tried to climb this high-altitude hall level route.Chinese climbers have been trying to climb the north wall of Potala mountain for three years.
