: "Lost You Forever" is an ancient mythical drama directed by Qin Zhen ("Love Scenery") and Yang Huan ("The Sleuth of Ming Dynasty"). It stars Yang Zi ("Falling Fragrance Like Ashes · Sinking Fragrance Chonghua"), Zhang Wanyi ("Immortal Samsara"), Deng Wei ("Till The End Of The Moon"), and Wang Hongyi ("Moonlight"). Set in ancient times, humans, gods, and demons coexist, and the three kingdoms of Shen Nong, Xuan Yuan, and Gao Xin vie for power. Gao Xin's Princess Jiuyao (Xiao Yao) (played by Yang Zi) ends up in the desolate wilderness, enduring hardships for a century. She not only loses her identity but also her appearance, settling in Qingshui Town as Wen Xiaoliu, who has nowhere to go, no one to rely on, and no means to protect herself. She makes a living as a wanderer. Xiaoyao's cousin, Xuan Yuan Prince Juanyu (played by Zhang Wanyi), searches the vast wilderness to find her, even though he is living under someone else's roof, hidden and patient. Their lives in Qingshui Town are peaceful and heartwarming. By chance, Xiaoliu saves the dying Qingqiu nobleman Tu Shanjing (played by Deng Wei), and they develop feelings for each other as they spend time together. Xiaoliu also befriends the nine-headed demon Xiangliu (played by Tan Jianci), and they become kindred spirits. After numerous twists and turns, Xiaoliu and Juanyu finally recognize each other, and Xiaoliu regains her identity as Princess Jiuyao. In order to unite the world, Juanyu sacrifices personal feelings for the throne. Xiangliu dies protecting righteousness, and after helping Juanyu accomplish his great cause, Xiaoyao withdraws from the world with Tu Shanjing. Devoted to governing the country, Juanyu dedicates all his energy to ensure a peaceful world, knowing that only when the world is at peace can Xiaoyao be happy and safe.
