Description

: The Chinese drama "A Romance of the Little Forest" tells the story of Zhuang Yu (played by Zhang Binbin), a botany professor who is dedicated to the cultivation and research of Artemisia annua, and is indifferent to worldly fame, fortune, and socializing, unintentionally hurting the country girl Yu Meiren (played by Yu Shuxin), who had a crush on him many years ago. Many years later, Yu Meiren earned a Ph.D. in ornithology with excellent grades, but chose to become a fashion blogger to avoid the pressure of scientific research. Unexpectedly, she crossed paths with Zhuang Yu again. Zhuang Yu went to Qingshui village for field research and coincidentally stayed at Yu Meiren's homestay. With Yu Meiren's help, Zhuang Yu's scientific research progressed smoothly, and he also felt the love and warmth that plants could not give him. Yu Meiren was inspired and encouraged by Zhuang Yu's dedication to his academic pursuits, and she decided to use her knowledge to give back to her hometown. Although they had different starting points, the two young people shared the same ideal of building their country and hometown with love and worked together hand in hand.
