Kotete was born on September 8, 1992 in Nanjing, Jiangsu, China. She is a member of the female idol group SNH48 TEAM NII. She officially debuted through a theatrical performance on November 2, 2013; On November 11 of the same year, she attended the flag ceremony for the establishment of the SNH48 Team and was promoted to an official member of the SNH48 Team N (Team NII). On July 26, 2014, she participated in the SNH48 All Nippon Airways’ "I Only Look Forward" Concert and the First General Election; On December 26 of the same year, she performed at the “SNH48 National Tour” held in Guangzhou; On December 27 of the same year, she performed at the “SNH48 National Tour” held in Shenzhen.
