Jason Koo, born on June 19th, 1992 in Kunming, Yunnan, is a Chinese singer and actor. He is a member of the Chinese idol group X Nine. He graduated from Chengdu Sport University. In 2015, he was a contestant on the talent show "X FIRE". In April 2016, he participated in the campus web drama "Super Star Academy". In September of the same year, he joined X Nine as a rapper and released the album "X Jiu". On December 10th of the same year, the group won the Boyband of the Year Award at the Tencent Video Starlight Awards. In 2017, he participated in the costume fantasy drama "Battle Through the Heavens". On April 2nd of the same year, he starred in the costume romance web drama "Oh! My Emperor". In January 2018, the band released their second album "Keep Online".
