: October 2015, Berlin, Germany. On a chilly afternoon, a young Chinese man with a double bass stood in front of the Brandenburg gate. In full view of the public, he put on a traditional Chinese drama mask and played Chinese folk music in front of this Western Palace building. This is a bold performance art, which is his dream to convey oriental music elements to the world. Ju Luxi, who graduated from Guangzhou Xinghai Conservatory of music, is 30 years old. Five years ago, he was admitted to Bremen Conservatory of music in Germany for a master's degree in double bass; A year ago, he successfully entered the German opera house to work as a bass player. From the perspective of a post-80s Chinese musician, this film interprets the proposition of what a country and a nation should learn from the world.
