The Chinese drama series "Bright Eyes in the Dark" is adapted from the highly popular novel of the same name on the Jinjiang Literature City platform. It is directed by Tian Yi ("Chasing the Undercurrent") and Yi Yong ("Chasing the Undercurrent"), and features Huang Jingyu ("Operation Red Sea," "The Thunder") and Zhang Jingyi ("Run for Young," "Lighter & Princess") as the lead actors. It is a firefighting hardcore inspirational drama created by the gold medal production team of "Chasing the Undercurrent." Lin Luxiao (Johnny Huang) possesses exceptional firefighting skills and extensive experience. He is the head of the Special Operations Station on Heping Road in Beixun City. By a twist of fate, he is chosen to become an instructor for a reality show aimed at promoting firefighting knowledge. During the show, Lin Luxiao coincidentally encounters Nan Chu (Zhang Jingyi), a dancer he had rescued from a fire years ago.
