In 2009, he dropped out of Korea National University of Arts due to the filming of ""Ninja Assassin"". On October 15, 2009, he officially debuted with the boy group MBLAQ, serving as the lead singer, visual, and choreographer.; On November 25th, he starred in the Hollywood film ""Ninja Assassin"". In September 2010, he starred in the MBC Sunday drama special ""Housewife Kim Kwang Ja’s 3rd Activities"".; On November 4th, he starred in the KBS Wednesday and Thursday drama ""Jungle Fish 2"".
