Liu Yu Ning was born in Dandong of Liaoning province on January 8, 1990. He is an singer and actor in the Chinese mainland and the lead singer of "Modern Brothers". He became the lead singer of the band in 2014 and made his presence on the YY Platform with the band in 2015. In 2016, he starred in his first movie "Class 952", thus formally entering entertainment world. In 2017, with Modern Brothers, he shifted his focus from indoor performance to street live streaming. In the same year, "The Theft Qin Fei", a crime and suspense movie starring Liu Yu Ning had its premiere. In 2018, his inspirational youth love movie "Romantic Zhen Xing Shi" was screened. In the same year, he starred in his first TV drama "Hot Blooded Youth", and released his first solo song "Imagine" on September 15. In 2019, he became the first "nationwide recommended challenger" of "Singer 2019", a music competition show of Hunan Satellite TV. In the same year, he won the "best new singer award" and "cyber influence honorary award" at the 26th Dragon TV Chinese Music Awards and his song "Toasting" was given the "media recommended film/TV song award" on March 25; he won the "best newcomer of the year award" at the 23rd China Music Awards event on April 27. He also starred in "Love Yourself", which was released on iQIYI in 2020.
