: "The Old Fisherfolks" is a documentary film, which records the traditional fishermen in xinwan village, Humen Town, Dongguan. They are about to grow old and have no successors. Whether the decline of this group means the decline of Dongguan's traditional fishing industry is still unknown. Around this group, the film approaches their lives, listens to their voices, digs their emotional stories, experiences their way of working, and uses images to save this valuable information that may soon die out.
