It tells the story of Xiao Mingming, an ardent fan of martial arts novels and a mediocre man hit by the cruel reality. He travels across the martial world through the perspective of Xiao Qiushui, the protagonist of his novel, growing from a young impulsive swordsman with subpar skills to a reliable and emotionally-open hero who protects his family and country.
