: The second season of the anime series, "Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 2" (2021) premiered in October 2021. The first season was broadcasted in January 2021. It tells the story of the male protagonist who was a NEET before his reincarnation and was reborn in another world as a boy named Rudeus due to a traffic accident. After being kicked out of his parents' home on the day of their funeral, a 34-year-old jobless NEET is hit by a truck and finds himself reincarnated in a world of sword and sorcery, in the body of a noble young master named Rudeus. Faced with the chance of a new life given to him by the gods of fate, he is determined to live a life he will not regret in this world. In spite of this ambitious determination, Rudeus' nature as a useless person appears again and again. With the help of his female tutor, he strives to learn various kinds of magic and meets with an elf of quarter blood with beautiful emerald hair. Living with a group of lovely girls in the other world, Rudeus' life begins to move forward... The anime series "Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation" is adapted from the web novel of the same name, and is split into two seasons. The original web novel "Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation" won the grand prize in the Kono Web Novel ga Sugoi! in 2015. The anime is voiced by Yumi Uchiyama ("Cells at Work!
