Liu Shi Shi, who is also known by the name Cecelia Liu, born in Beijing, China on March 10, 1987, is an actress graduated from Beijing Dance Academy in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree of Ballet. She debuted as an actress by starring as Ye Fenghe in The Moon and the Wind in 2004 and gained popularity with her appearance in The Legend of the Condor Heroes, Chinese Paladin 3. She was best known for her role as Ma Ertai·RuoXi in Chinese period drama Scarlet Heart in 2011. With her performance in the drama, Shi Shi was voted to be the Golden Eagle Lordness in the network votes organized by China Golden Eagle TV Art Festival and won the Best Actress at the 2nd China College Student Television Festival. She caught the audience’s eyes again with her performance in Xuan Yuan Sword - Rift of the Sky in 2012. Since then, she started to be active in the film industry by working with Wen Zhang, Li lianjie in Badges of Fury, co-starring with Zhangzhen in Brotherhood of Blades. She also co-starred with Miura Haruma and Zhang Xiaoquan in Five Minutes to Tomorrow. In the beginning of 2013, she was co-named as the "Chinese Four Promising Young Female actresses" with Angela baby, Yang Mi and Ni Ni by the famous Chinese paper-media Nan Du Entertainment Weekly.
