Cho Bo Ah is a South Korean actress who was born in Seoul, Korea on August 22, 1991.She graduated from Sungkyunkwan University, major in the Art of Acting. She appeared in the sitcom I Live in Cheongdam-dong as a guest star in 2011. One year later, she debuted with the drama Shut Up! Flower Boy Band. She was invited to be the special guest MC in the music billboard program M! Countdown in April, 2013. In the following years, she starred in the romantic thriller Innocent Thing (2014), the romantic comedy produced by TVN named The Idle Mermaid (August, 2014), Special Affairs Team M (2015) which won her the popularity prize at the KBS Drama Awards, and Mom, please (August, 2015) which won her the Best New Actress in the 28th Grimae Awards and Top Popularity Actress at the KBS Drama Awards. Two months later, she starred in the KBS comedy Sweet Stranger and Me. In 2017, she was cast in Let's Meet, Joo-oh produced by KBS. On March 23, 2018, she became the main MC of the reality show Baek Jong Won's Alley Restaurants which brought her the Excellence prize of the Variety Show Department at the 12th SBS Drama Awards. In the same year, she starred in MBC’s drama Goodbye to Goodbye and won the Excellent Actress of the Special Project for Weekend Department at the MBC Drama Awards. After that, she starred in the romantic school drama My Strange Hero in December. She ranked the 29th in the Forbes Korea Power Celebrity List till 2019. In 2020, she was cast in the drama Forest aired on KBS 2. On October 7, she starred in The Revolt of Gumiho and in the following next month, she was presented the medal of honor and certifications by the South Korean President for honoring her contribution in the social activities.
