Song Joong Ki, born in Daejeon Metropolitan City, South Korea on September 19, 1985, is a Korean actor and host. In 2008, he starred in the movie "Frost Flower Shop" and entered the show business circle, and later developed in TV dramas, movies, and variety shows. In 2009, he served as the host in the music show Music Bank, and later as a regular guest in the entertainment show "Running man" (E01-E41). In 2010, he starred in the TV series "Sungkyunkwan Scandal" Gu Yonghe, and won the KBS Acting Awards Best Popularity Award. In 2011, he played the role of Young Sejong in the TV series "Trees with Deep Roots" and won the PD Award of SBS Acting Awards[1]. In 2012, he took over the KBS Mizuki drama "The Kind Man" and won the Best Actor Award, Internet Popularity Award and Best Couple Award at the KBS Acting Awards[2] In the same year, the starring movie "Wolf Boy" was released, and the box office exceeded 7 million viewers, setting the highest box office record for a Korean romance film. Song Zhongji also won the Best Actor nomination in the film department of the Baeksang Arts Awards for this film. Song Zhongjii joined the army on August 27, 2013 and was discharged on May 26, 2015.
