Lin Yu Shen, born in Beijing on October 23rd, 1980, is a Chinese actor. He graduated from UTS International Business College in Australia. In 2000, he acted in his first TV series "The Orange is Red". In 2003, he played the role of Fang Zi in the TV series "You Are Smiling While I Am Weeping", directed by Ma Xiaoying. In 2006, he was nominated for the Best Actor Award in the 34th International Emmy Award for the movie "The Confession of Feng Qi". In 2007, he won the BQ 2006's Personality Award of the Year. In the same year, he filmed the TV series "Return Home" to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to China. In April 2009, Lin Yushen, Hu Ge, Zhang Junning, and Zhu Yuchen were named as the Four Boys of the New Generation of Post-80s Entertainment Stars contest. In 2010, he released the single "Wish Me A Red Chamber Dream" and won the Most Promising Actor Award in the 16th Shanghai TV Festival for "A Beautiful Daughter-in-law Era". In 2012, he starred in the inspirational TV series "Give You Life, Give Me Love". On November 30th, 2013, the TV series "Flower Pinellia" he starred in was broadcasted on Hunan TV.
